If I have to describe in my own words where to start traveling I would say Rishikesh is the best place to visit in summer or winter or the thing that is famous about Rishikesh's Triveni Ghat is this. Here Ganga Yamuna or Saraswati river flows along it or this thing
has made the place famous.or for people who live in Delhi, Rishikesh is not very accessible to us so I would suggest it if you are planning a summer travel. In this way you can start traveling to Rishikesh.

2 - Rishikund
If I say to myself that Rishikund is so famous because Lord Rama and his brother Lakshman visited Rishikund or some people after visiting there also bathed there or that is why it is Rishikund. Which famous or very sacred river flows? Rishikund is famous because there are so many meditation centers or yoga centers there or there is so much peace there that is why there is a center there or there is meditation or yoga center right next to the pool. People find it easier to meditate or do yoga.

3 - Lakshman Jhula
Lakshman Jhula has been built above the river Ganga or it was built in 1939. What I know about it is that when Lakshman ji visited here or crossed it, the name of the Jhula is in his honor.If I say it in my own words, then there would hardly be anyone who would not know about Laxman Jhula and the river rafting that is done there is only till Laxman Jhula.Lakshman Jhula one of the most prominent landmark in rishikesh.

4 - Beatles Ashram
Beatles Ashram is also called Chaurasi Kutiya or it is also one of the top 10 famous tourist places of Rishikesh. The forest department has reopened Beatles Ashram and said that it had become a tourist place.The Beatles Ashram is also famous for its graffiti artwork, due to which tourists often come here.

DevPrayag is one of the famous tourist places of Uttarakhand or it is popular for its beautiful tradition where Bhagirathi or Alaknanda river is found or this thing makes this place different.According to Hindu scriptures, Devprayag is the sacred place of merging of two visible heavenly rivers, Alaknanda and Bhagirathi, to form the holy Ganges.There is a temple of Shri Raghunath ji in Devprayag, where Hindu pilgrims come from every corner of India. Devprayag is situated at the confluence of Alaknanda and Bhagirathi rivers.
